Musical Excellence

Sisters, Kasia Szczech Dlugosz and Karen Szczech began Magical Keys as a harp/violin and piano/violin duet performing all around Chicagoland area from 12 years old. While performing, they maintained a large private teaching studio for piano, violin, and harp within their home studio. Thus birthing the Magical Keys Institute of Music where students of all ages gain high level musical training on piano, violin, harp, voice, music composition, and music theory.  

As full time performers and educators, Kasia and Karen get to work and witness children and adults from all backgrounds, and something became very clear - all of these individuals seem to have some knowledge of music, and an interest in sharing it, but they do not have access to be able to. 

This is how Together We Are A Symphony was brought to life. 

We listened, we heard, and we strategically thought about how to help youth and adults be able to experience and gain more knowledge on their instruments. We created this program in order for them to have greater access to ensemble training and to be able to bring it back to YOU, to YOUR communities, and to bridge the gap in humanity through music.
